Bagutta
Bagutta is a long established and well recognised brand in Italy. It is a brand that is owned by the colossus CIT, a company established in 1939 that today manufactures for the big fashion houses.
What made us stop and take a closer look at Bagutta’s stand in Pitti earlier this year was not only their elegant assistants but the quirky and unusual 'popper down' collar shirt that was on display. The shirt's collar shape was fantastic. And on closer inspection the fabric offer was also extremely good, whilst the pricing for the quality offered was almost unbelievable.
For AW10 we not only bought this 'popper down' collar, but also a washed and garmentdyed shirt too. We feel that the shirt ranges selected will either fall into one of two occasion categories: smart casual or denim; however, a couple of shirts we feel falls into both.
