7 For All Mankind
7 For All Mankind became a Ladieswear UK hit at the start of this decade. The innovative use of fabric, fits and finishes along with plenty of press coverage and celebrity endorsements made it a must have jean in any woman’s wardrobe.
The 7 For All Mankind menswear collection was launched on the back of the Ladieswear collection in 2002. Sharing the same qualities as the Ladieswear jean (excellent cut and fabrics), it immediately had an impact in the brand’s home town of Los Angeles and from there spread across the US and the globe.
John Goodwin has introduced ‘Sevens’, as it is often dubbed in the press, to sit alongside its other denim jeans this season. It is felt that Seven will become an important part of John Goodwin’s brand mix in the future. A wide range of different cuts were bought for this season including a much requested bootleg. We have also selected 'Austyn' which is similar to a straight leg but is particularly suitable for customers who may be slightly heavier than average on the thigh.
