We have taken time and care with the development of our website to ensure all the content is presented as accurately and clearly as possible. However, some detail and colour clarity may vary slightly depending on your monitor; therefore we can not give an absolute guarantee to the accuracy.
Please read these terms and conditions, if you do not agree with them please leave the site.
1. Eligibility to Purchase
To be eligible to purchase items on this website you are required:-
- To register as a customer and guarantee the personal information you give is true, accurate and current in all aspects
- To inform us, if any of your personal information changes please notify us immediately by e-mail to enquiries@johngoodwin-online.com
- To hold a valid credit or debit card that is accepted by johngoodwin-online.com
- To comply with the terms and conditions, be bound by them; and which may change and be updated from time to time.
2. Making a Purchase
- When you place an order you are agreeing to purchase at the price indicated. We will acknowledge receipt of your order by e-mail, inform you of the exact amount charged to your credit or debit card and provide you of an order reference number. N.B At this stage this is not a confirmation of your order.
- You have the right to cancel your order in accordance with the returns policy, as we have the right to not accept your order.
- Only when we e-mail you again to acknowledge your order is available and has been dispatched to you can you consider the order confirmed with the time and date as specified on the e-mail.
- A series of instructions on the website will help you with the process of placing an order.
- We may not accept your order if an item is out of stock or we are unable to obtain authorisation for your payment from your card company.
- We may not accept you order if we identify a quality problem or pricing error at any time. We also reserve the right to reject any offer to place an order by you, at our sole discretion.
- We will attempt to keep our website up to date as reasonably possible; there may be circumstances when we cannot fulfil your order. If this situation was to occur we will release the relevant monies held in our account by means of a refund to your credit or debit card, and keep you fully informed by e-mail.

- Once your order has been confirmed we will endeavour to deliver your order in a perfect condition by agreed means of delivery by UPS. Our delivery charges are:
- £5 for all UK addresses
- £20 for all EU deliveries
- £30 for overseas orders.
All orders are fully insured by us whilst in transit. If you wish to track your delivery we will e-mail you a tracking number which can be used in conjunction with UPS website, www.ups.com - If your order cannot be delivered for whatever reason within the time period notified by you to us, we will contact you by e-mail and try to manage the situation as best as practically possible. Please place your order with johngoodwin-online.com allowing sufficient time for your order to be processed and delivered. This will prevent disappointment and potential problems.
- All orders are deemed as separate and are treated individually.
- In the situation of sending a gift to a friend, orders may be delivered to an address other than the registered billing address. An e-mail copy of the invoice will be sent to the e-mail address to the registered home address. A signature with a printed name will be require by the recipient on receipt of delivery, this you will accept as evidence of delivery by them and transfer of responsibility in the same way.
3. Tracking your order
If you wish to check the current where-abouts of your order whilst in transit, you can do so by using the tracking number that has been sent to you by UPS.
4. Returns
If you are not satisfied with your goods we will happily offer you a full refund or exchange, provided that you:-
- Contact us within 7 days of receiving your order by e-mail
- To obtain a returns number from us (to be marked on outside of box)
- The returned goods have not been worn and are in a perfect condition, with all labels still attached together with the original packaging.
- Your returned items must be shipped to us using UPS carrier, please contact UPS on telephone 08457 877877 for U.K and Ireland to arrange a convenient time to you for collection or outside U.K contact www.ups.com
- Charges for returning goods are as follows:
- Within UK nil
- Within EU £20
- Outside EU £30
- The return must happen within 7 days of receiving your returns number. If you have any questions or queries or wish to discuss the returns procedure further please contact us either by e-mail; enquiries@johngoodwin-online.com
5. Gift Returns
If you have received an item as a gift, and wish to return this item, we will send you a credit note, which can be redeemed either online or in store.
6. Credit Cards
- 1. Johngoodwin-online.com only allows payment for order taken online to be paid by credit or debit card.
- 2. Credit and debit card holders are subject to various security and validation checks. If your card company does not authorise payment to us for whatever reason we can not be held liable or ensuring delay or non deliveries.
- 3. Your credit card company may carry out a security check to confirm your identity.
7. Delivery and Insurance
During working days we will dispatch orders received before 2pm for delivery by the end of the following day (U.K mainland), but this is a guide only. We can not be held liable for unforeseen delays.
8. Shoes, Lingerie and Swimwear
All shoes and boots must be tried on a carpet before wear. Returns can not be accepted if there is any evidence of wear. Unfortunately we cannot accept returns on either lingerie, underwear or swim wear.
9. Copyright and Trade Marks
All content on this site website including all text graphic mentioned later under content as protected. Trade-Marks and logos displayed throughout this site include company names not owned by us that appear on this site are property of their respective owners.
10. Licence
We grant you a limited revocable licence to use this site for personal use and to access it as and where necessary. You may use this site only for personal use and not replicate it in any way.
11. Warranties
We make no warranties of any kind whatsoever expressed or implied in connection with these terms and conditions, except for warranties that are not legally excludable.
12. Commercial Use
This site is for your personal use only. You may not copy, transmit, distribute, or reproduce it in any way. You may not use this site or any part of this or any of its content for any commercial use.
13. Intellectual Property Rights
Your use of this site www.johngoodwin-online.com and all content within grants no rights to you in relation to any copyright whatsoever.

In addition to the intellectual property rights, described above content includes all photographs, graphics music, text video and music. We have tried to ensure that all information on our site is accurate. We do not commit that all our content is accurate or error free.

From time to time we may include links to our site; we have not reviewed all these sites and are not responsible for the content or their accuracy. These links are for convenience only and are not endorsed by us.
16. Dispatches
If any dispute arises from using and or purchasing from this site the matter will be governed by English law and you hereby consent to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
17. Loyalty
- John Goodwin Loyalty Cards and Loyalty Vouchers are issued by and remain the property of John Goodwin Limited at all times and reserves the right, at any time without notice, to: (a) cancel the scheme; (b) decline to issue John Goodwin Loyalty accounts; and (c) on reasonable grounds, withdraw or cancel John Goodwin Loyalty cards, or points collected, or to alter or amend the conditions of operation of the John Goodwin Loyalty scheme. Reasonable grounds include (i) any abuse or attempted abuse of the scheme, or (ii) any use or attempted use of a John Goodwin Loyalty card or points in a manner which is contrary to these terms and conditions or (iii) any reasonable suspicion of dishonesty on the part of a member in connection with the scheme.
- All participants of the scheme must reside in the UK and be aged 18 years or over.
- The John Goodwin Loyalty Card is not transferable, and can only be used by the person whom is issued the card. It is not possible for a household or part of a household to share an account.
- Members may be removed from the scheme at any time at the discretion of John Goodwin.
- Your John Goodwin Loyalty card can only be used at John Goodwin and other promotional partners who may from time to time be part of the scheme. Your John Goodwin Loyalty card cannot be used as a credit card or a guarantee card.
- The John Goodwin Loyalty scheme is only for personal and consumer use. John Goodwin Loyalty Points and Loyalty Vouchers cannot be transferred, sold or in any way traded.
- Your John Goodwin Loyalty card cannot be used for any transaction where the beneficiary is a business and/or the owners of a business.
- To collect points for a transaction in store, your John Goodwin Loyalty Card must be presented at the point of sale. To collect points on purchases made through our website, you will be required to quote your John Goodwin Loyalty Card number by logging in to your John Goodwin online account1.
- Points will be accrued on sales where Gift Vouchers and Credit Notes are used as tender, but will not be accrued on sales where Gift Vouchers are purchased or Credit Notes issued. - You must spend at least £1 in a single transaction for the transaction to qualify for points. Five points will be awarded for every £1 that is spent. This can be altered at the discretion of John Goodwin. John Goodwin will be entitled to set a limit on the number of points which may be awarded to each John Goodwin Loyalty account in respect of special promotional items on which additional points are awarded. John Goodwin shall be entitled at any time to cancel points awarded if the relevant products to which such award relates are returned or cancelled for any reason and a refund of the purchase price is given, or if the relevant products are exchanged for other products, unless such exchange is for products with an equivalent points value. Where the relevant products are exchanged for products of a lower points value John Goodwin shall be entitled to cancel the balance of points between those originally collected and those collected in respect of the replacement products. Points are accrued on the total sales figure of a transaction minus items that are excluded from accruing points, such as Gift Vouchers and Credit Notes
- The current redemption value of points is one point equals one penny. John Goodwin reserves the right to vary the rate at any time.
- John Goodwin may from time to time vary the accrual rate for a limited period only as a form of promotion on select items or departments.
- Where points can be collected with our partners other terms and conditions may apply. Please check with our partners for further details.
- Rewards, in the form of Loyalty Discount Vouchers will be mailed with a statement to the customers who have accumulated a combined total of at least 1000 points by the end of each collecting period.
- There will be at least two collecting periods per year. Collecting periods may vary.
- The level of reward given by John Goodwin will be based on the number of points that a member has collected on John Goodwin products by the end of the last day of a collecting period. Points a member has collected on John Goodwin products that fall between the level of reward and the next level will be carried over as the starting balance for the next collecting period. The current levels are multiples of 100 points. John Goodwin reserves the right to vary the rate at any time.
- Members who do not reach the minimum number of points needed to qualify for a reward by the end of the collecting period will have their points total carried over to the next collecting period.
- John Goodwin will issue one Loyalty Discount Voucher per member per collecting period.
- When a Loyalty Discount Voucher is redeemed discount will be applied to the transaction separately. The purchased items will remain showing their original price.
- To redeem you Loyalty Discount Voucher you need to present it to a Sales Advisor along with your Loyalty Card. Proof of identity may be required to validate the voucher.
- If a Loyalty Discount Voucher is used in a transaction then the following conditions apply:
- The whole of the Loyalty Discount Voucher must be redeemed in a single transaction. Part of a Loyalty Discount Voucher can be carried forward when the total value of the items purchased is less than the face value of the Loyalty Discount Voucher. In the event of this happening a Loyalty Discount Voucher Credit Note will be issued for the remaining balance. This Loyalty Discount Voucher Credit Note can be redeemed at a later date in a subsequent transaction. A Loyalty Discount Voucher Credit Note will expire at the same date the Loyalty Discount Voucher it originates from was set to expire.
- The item is eligible for refund minus the value of the Loyalty Discount Voucher used. The remaining amount will be accounted for by issuing a Loyalty Credit Note.
- If the original transaction contained multiple items and two or more of those items are returned then a refund will be given up to the point where the amount paid after discount has been reached at which point the remaining amount will be accounted for by issuing a Loyalty Credit Note.
- A Loyalty Credit Note will expire at the same date the original Loyalty Discount Voucher was due to expire.

- John Goodwin Loyalty Vouchers are the property of John Goodwin Limited. They are not for resale or publication. They have no cash redemption value. Vouchers that are copied, damaged or defaced will not be accepted.
- Loyalty Discount Vouchers can only be used by the person to whom they are issued.
- Loyalty Discount Vouchers can be exchanged for goods and services equivalent to their face value, or a higher value on payment of the difference.
- A Loyalty Discount Voucher cannot be redeemed more than once.
- Loyalty Discount Vouchers are valid up to and including their expiry date.
- In store, if a Loyalty Discount Voucher used is greater than the sum total of the transaction, change will be given in the form of a Loyalty Discount Voucher Credit Note. Online, a Loyalty Voucher used cannot be greater than the sum total of the transaction.
- In store, unless otherwise stated only a single Loyalty Discount Voucher can be redeemed per single transaction. Online, only a single Loyalty Discount Voucher can be redeemed per single transaction.
- Loyalty Discount Vouchers cannot be used to discount certain products and services. Loyalty Discount Vouchers cannot be used for the purchase of Gift Vouchers.
- The promoter of John Goodwin Loyalty is John Goodwin Limited, 95 Peascod Street, Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 1DH.
